Ok... I need pics of stripped down mazda 2.0 or 2.2 engines. stripped of emissions. Not just engine pictures but pictures of all engine bay, including passenger fender, where all that shit is home too. See I got a 1989 Mazda B-2200 2.2, but I wanna strip all the emissions shit off at home...kinda a DIY project. Can I take certain emissions lines and connect them straight from carb to w/e? I am thinking about either rebuilding the 2.2 or getting one imported. My Mazda smokes blue-ish white, and it does it ALOT. It gets me around though. The transmission works fine except for when its in gear, it'll still roll...oops. I wanna end up re-doing it all, engine, transmission, and rear-end. Replacing or Upgrading it all. I just want pictures of either stripped down B-2000, B-2200 and/or B-2600 engines. Either in progress pictures of stripping or pictures of them stripped.

as pimpjuice would say... L8R

sorry no pics, but all you have to do is pull your vacuum lines and plug them, making sure NOT to pull your vacuum advance line, coming off your distributer, and don't pull your vacuum line going to your brake booster,(the big round thing your master cylinder bolts onto) It's nice at the same time to install a header, because it has none of the smog lines that the stock manifold does. for simplicity's sake you can go to a local parts supplier and buy a cheap generic air cleaner and adapter thing to make it the right size for the inlet of the carb. OR, you can get a weber carb(better then pulling the vacuum lines). what state do you live in where there's no emissions to worry about?

Were both in FL.. no emissions. And ford pickup lug pattern is the same as the studs on the factory header, so you can just throw some lugs on there to seal it up until you get a header.
