The ultimate customs come with a step by step as to what to do, and the ford motors have the distrib. up front.. so not as hard. However the easiest way to go is to find a motor and run a carberator, msd ignition, and points distrib., so there isn't as much wiring invloved. You will need to upgrade your radiator to a 3 core radiator, or a newer body style 4 runner or celica radiator. You will need to have your driveshaft cut to fit and your factory rear end is 1/2 ton.. so you will be fine with that guy.
