My 90 B2200 with carb has a major oil puddle in the air cleaner. There is so much oil it has saturatd the air filter and runs out of the bottom of the air cleaner. It is not as bad around town but after highway driving oil is all over the engine compartment. The PCV valve is new and has suction. Is all this oil coming from the breather vent?? No smoke on startup or while driving ( that I have noticed). Any ideas??

Thanks

mine is the same way lol

not sure what to do about it, mine has a foam peice on the air filter assembly inside where the breather goes to...i just clean mine out once in awhile haha

sounds like we have that in common, I do the same thing Mark does, just clean it once in a while.

I had the same problem with an 87 B2600. A new set of pistons rings cured the problem. Air cleaner and inside of housing dry, no more oil.
