I have a 5.0 in mine ( well I did for 6 years untill I sold it). I posted pics of it under Old School 5.0. It was from a 91 mustang with an 4 speed automatic tranny. When the swap was done it was rebuilt, had a cam, MSD ign, K&N, rollers, wires, etc but nothing much. The tranny was also rebuilt and beefed up with a custom shift kit and stall. The stock Mazda rear end was left in due to the bolt pattern problem. When you manually shifted the gears the ass end seriously kicked out to about a 50 degree angle, in every one. You could smoke the tires at any speed. For my best guess it had about 275HP (245 stock) and it did low 14's in the quarter. It might have even been the 13's but I'm being conservative. It beat a blazer with a big block, tons of mustangs and camaro's, but even better than that was to pull up beside a guy in his "hotrod" with your Mazda PU and the guy just looks at you like who the fuck is this clown, then you put him on his ass for the first 300 feet after the light to show him who's boss. I definatly recomed the 5.0l swap.
