Heya, just noticed my speedometer isnt working. the factory tach works though.
So is is the actual cluster or the tranny cable disconnected? if its the tranny cable, which think it is, how do i re-connect it?
thanks in advance

it either came unplugged on the speedo itself.. or it came unplugged on the tranny.. if it broke.. just get an aftermarket one because you can only get a speedo cable from the dealership. Also check and make sure it didn't get kinked or binding anywhere.

the tach runs off a wire from the coil the speedo runs on a cable from the tranny thay dont have anything to do with one anthor Mullut is right check at the tranny to see if its still hooked up and if it is check the backside of the cluster to make sure it is still hooked up

I believe the speedo camble plugs in on the passengers side about half way up.. but its been a while since i crawled under there.. so please don't quote me. You will defenatly need the vehicle lifted somehow.. either on ramps or jack and jackstands.. please don't forget to chuck the rear tire to keep it from rolling.. and always always always use jack stands.

Drivers side actually. The cable broke on mine and I just went to the junkyard and got another for $5 then unscrewed mine from the tranyn, pulled the cable out of it and slipped the new cable back up my old cable housing. Took like 1 minute.
