does anyone have a link to the operation instructions of the remote free wheel system on an 89 4x4?
I'm not totally clear as to when I can go from 4h to 4l and 2h to 4h to 2h again etc.

Hi,
I'm a 4X4 owner here with a 1990 I've owned since it was new. The RFW switch is used to go out of 4 wheel drive. You have to stop first to enter 4 wheel. You can come out of 4wheel on the fly but the hubs don't release until you go backwards a few feet.
