I don't know where to look, don't know much about transmisions. All I know is lately it's been really hard to shift especially back into first when coming to a stop. my clutch fluid seems to be at max so where else can I look?
oh, I don't know where the clutch fluid is leaking from, just know that every now and then I gotta add some- if it gets under "max" it gets hard to shift- It's weird 'cause my rx7 had the same problem
rich if your truck is running and legal meet me in new castle one day this week and i 'll look at your clutch slave cylinder . DO You have any pressure in your clutch pedal at all? Or does it go to the floor? I bet that your clutch slave cylinder went on your truck .
I actually do have pressure, everything works fine if the clutch fluid is right at max, but it's when it gets lower than that, that's when I have the problem
I Work on new castle ave . Give me a days notice and we'll get together .
IM thinking you either have a problem with the clutch slave clyinder or the resivor i'll look at the clutch slave cylinder to see if its leaking . but you say you have pressure ? IF neither of these are it then my next thought is the clutch is going bad in your truck . are you grinding gears sometimes ?
so when the clutch resavore is full you dont have any problems. but when it gets low you start to have problems with it not shifting right sounds like you awnsered you own ???? there. as for were to look its really not that hard. look under the hood and you will see were you fill up the clutch resavore. there is a line coming out of it follow it down to the passger side of the tranny. there is a Slave cylinder there look at it to see if there is fluid on it. if there is you Slave cylinder is going out. its not a hard fix if thats the case
