I have Pacestter headers, and a stock intake setup. Is this why it happens, because it doesnt get warmed fast enough with the headers?
Two questions:
1. Would an aftermarket carb, like a weber 32/36 setup fix this?
2. Would an electric choke work better?

you could try cleaning your choke linkage with some carb cleaner or if you just wanting to spend some $ i would go for the weber it will make a dif. in every way

how fast do you want it to warm up? and what by warm up do you mean is it not getting up to temp fast enough or is the idle staying rough. your choke should hold the idle up high for a while unless your jacking with the pedal if not you need a new choke.

when i start it up, the idle will saty at about 2,000 for about 5 mins, then it will drop after you touch the gas. the actuall temperature is fine though.
