Engine question one and for all

Engine question:

i have a 87 b2600 carbed. now so many people tell me rangers, caravans have this carbed motor but yet every caravan or something isn't the same at all. can some one nfor once claify years to years makes ,models that had this carbed 2.6.?? i know the raider had that motor but we dont have those at out local junkyards.

Come on somebody must know? Has anyone looked at there tempature sending unit and remember if there is 1 or 2 prongs on the end? cause mine only has 2 prongs and yet the new one i got from mazda dealership only has one. this is for 2.6 carb

if im not mistaken, the older carbed 2.6's were mitsu related motors and have no similarities to the newer fuel injected 2.6's (2600i), i dont know if the ranger carbs work or the caravan carbs work.,..but i highly doubt it

I believe the only other vehicle that had that motor was the mitsu pickup around the same years 87-89. Hope that helps some

So does anything interchange?? Can you use any of those motors?

all those cars are spose to have the 2.6 in certain years. im trying to get to the bottom of this
