i think its one of those shitty risistor things that u connect to the mass air flow sensor, to trick the truck that its not getting as much air as the truckis really getting , somthing like that

thats an easy way to fry your computer

It's like starting your truck on a cold winter day. basically stays like that and feeds a bit more fuel. Does probably give a bit of HP but nothing you would ever notice substantially.
