do you have to mod your oil pan if your laying frame

im almost positive a 302 or 350 factory pan clears the stock engine crossmember

yah im layin and i got a stock pan. its far from the ground. but i made my motor mounts tall so i would not have to notch the crossmember liek the ultimate customs kit.

I'm layin frame with a 351w in my mazda, i have the oil pan bolt about an inch off the ground, and i notched the front crossmember for the oil pan to sit in. I was tryin to kepp my motor under a stock hood but i couldn't lay frame and kepp it under the hood so i built a 2 1/2 cowl hood, and raised it just a lil... The hardest part im having right now is getting it to lay frame with the v8 and not lay on the exhuast..lol...

We'll it's not a hard swap but it was all the little things that killed me, i've hade my truck off the road for about 2 years not, thats getting the motor & tranny putting it in, ordering everything for the air ride, building everything for the air ride and tons of little shit...I'm gonna put it away for the winter so i can have it reliable for spring...
