The carb on my truck is acting up latley. It seems to load up with fuel or something, When I am driving it and I shift out of first and accelerate it boggs to point where it will die if I don't get off the pedal. And sometimes even when Im not moving and I step on the gas it will bog down. Its like I can't even accelerate!! Could it be I am running to rich?? Or is there something with carb itself?

check your fuel filter first

Try to add some carburator/fuel injector additive in your gas.
And drive the cr...p out of it. Hopefully it will clean out the blockages in your carb.

Then we'll go from there. Post the results.

Ok, how long have you been driving the truck with no problems since it started bogging?
What was the last thing done to the truck before you started experiencing the problem?
Was anything done to the carb lately? Is it still the original carb or has it been replaced sometime in the past?

When was the last time you did a tune up? New plugs, rotors, spark plug wires?

Let us know.

It has been progressivly getting worse... I justputnew plugs in it and I recenlty adjusted idle because it was idlying high for no apparent reaso

This Afternoon I adjusted my idle up and the problem get less severe but it still there

Hey, you just found your problem. If it was idling high for no reason, one of your vacuum lines was off or leaking.
Remove your air cleaner housing and check all your vacuum connections especially those between the carb and valve cover.
