Toyota 4 runner or celicas, 94 i think and up s10's, and nissan hardbodys fit, just have to make new brackets to hold them in. If its an automatic you have to get one w/ an internal tranny cooler. As for the question towards the overflow. Take off your hose going into your thermostate, look in the thermostate housing and make sure its ok, spray some water in there.. might have something blocking it. Flush the radiator, cause it could be an air bubble.

O.. also try and see if your fan can spin freely without the motor running. If its real tight then your water pump could have gone out.

I just put a new hose on the bottom port on the radiator so the air in it could be the problem, how could i get it out? so would that explain why its getting hot and sending antifreeze back thru the over fill tube and leakin half of it out.?

run the truck with the rad cap off, make sure the truck is cold then let it run to operating temp and keep pouring fuild in it if u see it getting low, that'll get rid off any air pockets, but it also might be a bad thermostat, or head gasket,

Also if you have a way to get in a repair shop, they usually have a pump that you hook on to your radiator cap and on the bottom hose.. and they will draw any air out.. easiest.. and messiest is the radiator cap off. It is kinda fun to do it. Just make sure you check to see if that fan is spinning.

The fins on the radiator have half fallen off... so thats why I am lookign for a new radiaitor. I figured sense it is falling apart I best fix it before there is a problem

about the fan comment... it's supposed to be a little tight. like when you turn off the truck it should only spin like 1 turn, that lets you know the clutch inside is still good. has nothing to do with the water pump. the fan is a clutch fan. it needs to be a little stiff to pull air thru the radiator to cool the motor. and the radiator question, i feel the best way to go is an aluminum radiator... they're usually over 300 tho, but i had one made, 3 1/2" shorter, about 1" wider and double rows instead of single, and i have only had to use my fan once, when i was in heavy ass traffic, idling for like 40 min. it works almost too well. the aluminum dissapates the heat better i guess

i just put a brand new thermostat in the truck so i really dont think its the thermotstat and the solution to getting air out someone side keep pouring antifreeze in it so it gets the air out, my neighboor told me that if you take the cap off when its cool turn it on and if antifreeze starts bubbling up its a bad thermostat then we replaced it, so ima go with the suggestion of getting anti-freeze open the cap and keep poring it in.

thanks guys

Would a RX-7 radiator fit?
