Header on an 89 B2200 Automatic

What do I have to do to get a header to fit an Automatic Mazda. On Pacesetter it says they are only made for 5 speed Mazdas. I was just wondering what I would have to do to get it to fit my auto. Thanks

well on my automatic it was hitting the bell housing but it was just a little, well this is how it went for me, I had the header on not bolted down or anything yet it was almost on when i noticed it was hitting the bell housing it was just the collector part of the header so I i played my luck, when tighting down the bolts on the head its going to want to hit the bellhousing more, so I said well either I am stripping the head bolts or i am getting headers on this, so now I have a pacesetter header on my automatic.....

im wondering if u take the collector pipe and bring it to an exaust shop and have them put a slight S bend to clear the bell housing and then it should mount right up

on the pacesetter header why does it have two collectors and what are the pipes in the middle that emmission crap?

those pipes are like a reburner for emmisions they are junk when you put your header on there you throw those out along with a bunch of vacuum lines its a lot cleaner under there when you put your new carb on

hey do they unbolt on those headers cause on my original manifold i cut them off and welded them up

I JUST GOT MY SET IN, THEY DON'T LOOK LIKE THE ONE IN THE PICTURE, THERE ARE 4 PIPES, ONE FOR EACH CYLINDER, THEY DROP DOWN INTO AN COLLECTOR, THEN THERE IS A SHORT PIECE OF PIPE (@ 1') W/ THE O2 BUNG, THAT ATTACHES TO THE COLLECTOR. SUMMIT HAS A PIC OF THE REGULAR BLACK PIPE, I GOT THE ARMOR COAT TO KEEP THE UNDER HOOD TEMPS DOWN.

umm that header is for an inline 6cyl.

yea it looked like a straight six but it said 2.0l or 2.2l but it looked like those exaust receculator things
