if the head is cracked, and you find a suitable replacement, before i put it on i would send it and have it cryo treated. they take the bare head, put it in a vaccum chamber, and put it under a vaccum, and slowly drop the temp to like -300 deg. then bringit back to room temp, and up to +300 deg. this will change the crystaline structure of the metal, increasings the "microscopic" surface area, and make it stronger, more ware resistant, and less likely to crack or warp. for more info on this type of treatment check out this link. for small price of what you pay for this to be done, it is well worth it in the long run. i have read several articles about this being done in the import /drifting scene, and nascar to various parts.
