rear end question

hey thinkin a bout doin the 302 swap.... what do i need for a rear end? also im lookin at the pros and con of using auto vs manual?

i'm using a ford 9" in mine. i moved spring perch mounts to the new proper location and pinion angle,had a drive shaft made for my applicatin and did what i needed to hookup disc brakes. this was all pretty much straight forward stuff.

How much different is the 9" in width than the Maz rear end ?

Please get the CORRECT measuerments(sp) for the rear end. there are so many posts about thois on other mintrucking sites. I was hoping that this being a Mazda only site one person could get the right ones.

it all depends on what ford rearend. there are several different widths from the factory. you can find some good info from googling on websites

OK what width is your paticular rear end and what did it come out of. ??
