Ok i was wondering if any new why my truck will some times cut out for a half a sec when i am accellerating in lower gears? I recently have to install a new distrubuter because mine when out and so now i think my timing is off allittle. Or i also just installed some headers and in doing so i had to plug some vac lines and they are creating the problem. idk ideas

the vacuum lines could add to that problem. what headers did you put on it?

They were pacesetter headers and just yesterday i followed those with a thrush glasspack sounds awsome

if you have a stock mazda 4 cyl engine, there is only one header.(sorry it's beside the point, i know)
it seems most of the complaints i hear about mazda acceleration is the cutting out or bogging down. mine did it too. the accelerator pump inside the carburetor is most likely the problem. when you open the throttle it pumps a little bit more gas in to add to the extra air to create the correct a/f ratio, it could be stuck... check it out. i cannot remember exactly where it is off the top of my head, but i'm sure someone has a pic of their stock carb, i can try to take a pic, and post it, but i don't have the internet at home, so...
