Is it possible to ajust your carb so it will use more gas, like if you where putting a supercharger or a turbo on and u use a carb hat to connect your blower to the carb. If you dont ajust your carb then i would think the truck would run too lean. any ideas?

yeah, there is a fuel mixture screw, and also an idle mixture screw.
set the mixture screw inbetween where it wants to kill the motor (screw in & screw out) there will only be @ 1 1/2 turns inbetween in and out of the screw.
then with a slight load on the engine (run the a/c) set the idle mixture so that it idles between 600-900rpm with the choke disengaged. you want the idle mixture right, then if you are adding say a turbo/supercharger you could adjust the fuel mixture screw to feed more fuel to prevent the lean condition.

that's why fuel injection is supreme!! PCM automatically senses more air, and increases injector pulse width to a point.

yeah, if your force feeding your motor you would be better off with
f.i than a carb. it's a lot easier to adjust, and tune, not to mention a
lot more accurate. but for non-force fed motors carbs are usually
the way to go as far as $$$ wise.
