JDM engines are just ones that they didn't have here in north america. they are the domestic market motors in japan. some JDM engines are really sought after because cars were realeased in japan with larger motor than cars in north america

also most jdm motors have around 30,300 or less mileage on them, aparently over there you pay higher taxes on the vehicle if it has that many miles, so from what i am told it is cheaper to get a nother car or motor than pay the taxes? dont know if thats true, but anytime you see a jdm motor they always have around 30k or less on them

is there a jdm engine available for the b-2200?? would it still be a 2.2? whats the differences??

not for specifically for the b2200

but there is a JDM 2.0 liter 626 or 2.0 MX-6 turbo motors that are easily swappable, as in pretty much bolts right in with very similar, if not, the same motor mounts.
