I have updated my 92 B2200 to a 32/36 weber but now can't seem to get any gas out of the pump. I need some help!!!! I put in a new fuel pump and it is getting power and seems to turn on but no fuel is coming out. Help! Any suggestions is appreciated.

are you using a fuel cell or tank? if a cell does it have a vent, if not then your pump will cause a vaccum and you won't flow any fuel through your pump.

I still have the stock tank and have not made any changes to the fuel lines or tank other than adding a new fuel pump. I have taken off all of the smog equipment when the weber carb was added. The truck has been sitting for over a year but the fuel lines seem to be clear. When i added fuel to the carb directly it fires up. Is there a way to prime the fuel pump?

your fuel pump shouldnt be getting power or "turning on" because it is a manual fuel pump, unless you have a fuel injected b2200, which would be nice btw

the pump should not need priming, should just be able to bolt it on and then hook the fuel lines back on and should be good to go...make sure you didnt get the lines backwards, and check your fuel filter, filter is in the engine compartment on the pass side inner fender

some of the 91-93 b2200 carb'd trucks came w/ a small elect. pump in the tank.i think this was just on the one's w/ cali emisions tho.....

Mine does have a small electric fuel pump. I have mainly seen a few at truck shows that have the mechanical pump bolted to the head. I am going to try to rewire it to see if I managed to hook it up wrong. If you guys know anything else to try let me know. Thanks!
