Haha whats up Tim, There's alot u'll have to do just like any other v8 swap, It's not to bad though man and it'll be a blast to drive=) What year is the engine and does it have an electronic distributor if so wirings real Easy man so don't sweat that. You'll have to build you own motor and tranny mounts get a driveshaft built, Do you no if it was out of a car, truck or van, and is its a rear sump oil pan or both. I have a rear sump, the thing is if your gonna be runnin bags it's gonna be hard to keep under the hood. My oil pan bolt is about a 1/2" off the ground and my air cleaners about an 1" out of the hood. Thats why i built the cowl hood. Also make sure when u put it in you sit the motor as close to the firewall as possible, You can get away without having to notch it. You'll have to take a hammer and dent the tranny tunnel a little though. Do you no if its an aod Tranny? Other than that just get the truck level and the motor tranny level and centered. If you get a 1pc driveshaft made u might end up having to notch the tranny tunnel in the back of the cab. Then all your gonna need is some gauges to see what everythings doing, a cable shifter. and some exhaust.... Any other questions man feel free to I.m. me on aol...
