Im about to re-locate my gas tank and i need to know if mazdas run alot of psi in the fuel lines, reason i ask is cause i know s-10s do and they require you to buy a high psi line to run it safely, i am just curious to know if mazdas are the same or would it be fine just to go down to auto zone and get some regular fuel lines, thanks guys.

Depends on what truck you have.. if you have one of the fuel injected trucks.. the fuel in those systems is under a lot more PSI than your naturally asperated trucks. I know that in my truck, being that its got the carb & mechanical fuel pump.. that the fuel is only under any kind of real pressure (if much at all) between the fuel pump and the carb. The fuel is being "sucked" from the tank upto the fuel pump.. then being pressurized as its delivered to the carb. Now the fuel injected trucks.. might have an electric fuel pump in their tanks.. (Most fuel injected applications are this way.. but not all and I dont have first hand knowledge of the B2600i's system).. and if they do have the electric fuel pump in the tank.. then the entire fuel line from tank to engine would need to be able to sustain higher pressures over extended periods of time. Sorry I dont have any specific numbers to give you on this.. just a small bit of logic. Cheers

ahhh sorry, i should have listed what i was running tunes my apology.

I got a 83 mazda b-2000 2.0 liter and it is not fuel injected, its on a carb, so i take it regular gas line would work am i correct?

3.5-5 psi carb'd or 35-45 psi f.i it all depends on the pump & if
you have a psi regulator. when i start puttin my fuel system in,
i am replacing the factory hard line, and putting in 3/8" stainless
hard line, and using flex hose for connections to the carb, regulator,
filters, pump, & fuel cell.
