How do you adjust the idle on a carbed 2.2L? and I have a plug that isnt hooked up. It runs out of the back of the carborator and its a yellow wire with a blue stripe down it. It runs towards the front of the truck but I can't find anywhere to plug it into anyone know what it is or where it goes?

there is an idle screw on the passenger side of the truck turn left to lower idle, turn right to raise idle. The wire may be for your choke.

if it is the choke where does it plug in at?

on the right of the carb you will see a metal electical connector it goes there. If there is already something hooked there then its not it. Is it a wire?? is there any kind of adapter or plug on the end of the wire??

THE CHOKE WIRE RUNS FROM THE CHOKE ON THE CARB TO THE ALTERNATOR.....

yeah make sure you check both ends of the wire!:)

Its a yellow wire with a blue line down it. It will plug onto a blade type connector.

WHICH END ISN'T HOOKED UP, THE ONE ON THE CARB, OR THE OTHER END. THE CARB END GOES TO THE CHOKE HEATER, IT IS ROUND W/ ONE OF THE BLADE TYPE OF CONNECTORS ON IT, THE OTHER END GOES TO THE BACK SIDE OF THE ALTERNATOR, THERE IS SOME PLUGINS ON THE BACK OF IT.

it was the end not connected to the carb I'll go check the alternator now thanks.

there is already a plug plugged into the back of the alternator and the wire wouldn't reach down there to plug into it so I dont think it goes there. Its dark now I'll try and get a pic tomorrow unless anyone has any other ideas?
