Who did you go through to get your pacesetter header? How much did it cost?

IT IS THE ARMORCOATED ONE, IT WAS $235,
THEY SHIPPED IT STRAIGHT FROM PACESETTER,
IT DIDN'T TAKE 2 WEEKS, I GOT IT A WEEK AFTER
I ORDERED IT.

THIS IS THE CHEAPEST PLACE I FOUND, PLUS THEY
SELL A BUNCH OF OTHER STUFF FOR OUR TRUCKS.

NOT A PROB, GLAD TO HELP!
I'D RECCOMEND GETTING AN EXTRA GASKET JUST INCASE,
THEY WILL SHIP ONE WITH THE HEADER, BUT IT DOESN'T
HURT TO HAVE AN EXTRA JUST INCASE, I PAID $12 FOR
MINE.

Hey NYTRDR are you getting bigger exhaust or are you keeping it stock with just a high flow cat. I got a 2.25in cat back with header, highflow cat and magnaflow muffler and it sounds pretty good. Doesnt sound like a rice burner!

BACK WHEN IT WAS RUNNING.....6-7 YEARS AGO, I HAD THE BACK CAT CUT OFF, AND HAD A TURBO II MUFFLER (1) 2" IN - (2) 2.5" OUT , AND RAN THEM OUT THE CUT OUTS FOR THE BUMPER BRACKETS. MY MISTAKE WAS
NOT CUTTING THE FRONT CAT OFF, ALL THE GUTS FELL OUT INTO THE FACTORY COLLECTOR, STOPPED IT UP, AND THE MOTOR WENT DOWN HILL FROM THERE.
NOW...THE PACESETTER HEADER HAS A 2" COLLECTOR, I AM GOING TO WELD SOME 3-BOLT FLANGES TO THE CONNECTION FROM THE HEADER TO THE 2" PACESETTER HI-FLOW CAT, AND FROM THE CAT TO THE MUFFLER (NOT SURE WHAT MUFFLER I'LL RUN YET) THAT WAY I CAN EASILY TAKE THE CAT OUT AND REPLACE IT. FROM THE CAT TO THE MUFFLER I'LL STEP
UP THE PIPE SIZE FROM 2" TO 2.5", AND RUN 2.5" OUT THE BACK (I MAY WELD SOME OF THOSE 3-BOLT FLANGES ON EITHER SIDE OF THE MUFFLER, THAT WAY IF IT GOES, I CAN REPLACE IT TOO..) ANY THING BIGGER WOULD BE A WASTE, AS YOUR RESTRICTED BY THE INITIAL SIZE OF THE PIPE FROM THE MOTOR.
