the motor bolts onto everything? and fits like a glove.. an you use the stock mazda harness and computer

It will bolt right to your tranny and motor mounts, it is an F2 block with a twin cam head. All your belt drive accessories will therfore fit too.

But you need to change to the KIA wiring harness and ECU, as well as convert the truck to EFI with a B2600i in tank pump and upgraded lines.

Jim (madlowmazda on ssm) did this swap, he said the 1.8 miata header bolts to the head and he used CBR 600 F4i individual throttle bodies. He also switched to MSII EFI with Ford EDIS ignition, and almost doubled his stock B2200 86 hp in a week. Said it pulls like nuts and does donuts like crazy. There is a video of him screwing around in a parking lot, I'll try and find it.

Same block....so all accessories mount right up, along with the trans.
The FI is different, hence the need for the Kia computer and wiring harness.

you could use a b2200 tank also if you get one with FI mines a 93 and Fuel injected I am gonna use the pump on my 4.3 it looks to have enough pressure
