I have been thinking about putting in a Toyota 22R engine in my Mazda. You can find a lot of performance parts for those engines. I would love to run a sidedrift carb setup or a supersharger setup on one. Ok now my question. Someone told me the 22R and the Mazda b2200 have the same motormounts. Anyone know that maybe be true?

DON'T KNOW BOUT THE MOTOR MOUNTS, BUT THERE ARE PERFORMANCE PARTS FOR THE B2200, YOU JUST HAVE TO DO A LITTLE SEARCHING FOR THEM....IT JUST DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU WANT OUT OF YOUR MOTOR...
YOU USED TO BE ABLE TO GET A SIDEDRAFT SETUP FOR THE B2200, BUT THEY QUIT MAKING THEM SOMETIME AGO, IF YOU KNOW SOMEONE IN A MACHINE SHOP, YOU COULD HAVE AN INTAKE MADE FOR SIDEDRAFTS, BUT NO SUPERCHARGER FOR ONE, NOW YOU CAN PUT A TURBO OFF OF A 626/MX6/FORD PROBE ON ONE. THE UPSIDE TO A 22R IS THEY ARE EXTREMELY RELIABLE, IF YOU DO MAKE THE SWAP, KEEP US POSTED & TAKE SOME PICS!
