Stock gas tank

Is it possible to drop the stock gas tank without taking the bed off? Last time I bagged my truck I had the bed off when I removed it so I cant remember right off hand. Im thinking there are 3-5 bolts on each end and thats it? Or is there more?

I figured you could. I just came in for the night and didnt feel like going back downstairs to check. Im lazy, its Friday night. Its been a while since I dropped one and the bed was off.

umm i cant imagine trying too. There are two bolts in the front where that crossmember behind the cab is and two on the back. All 4 are 12mm hex heads. I think you might have to pull the bed off because when i did mine the two bolts in the front of the tank had one facing down and one facing up (they are apart of the tank). I dont think you can get to one of the nuts without talking the bed off.

Oh well, if its to much of a pain to get to then I'll just cut the damn brackets off.
