I have a 83 mazda b2000 do i need all the vacuum lines and emmisions crap hooked up in order to start it?

not necessarily. it will more than likely not hold an idle with the lines not connected

you will want to keep your vacuum advance for the distributor connected, and the vacuum break booster... but other than that, you can cap off all the other lines and it'll run fine with a little timing adjustment.

just cap off whatever you disconnect on the carb as ^^ said. the vacuum advance does not open until higher RPMs, so it isnt needed to start the truck. but needed once you start driving it. the brake booster is a given.

is the truck not starting? or are you just wondering.

the truck isnt running it did before
