351 Cleveland

Anybody rollin with a 351 cleveland? Or know if it will fit. My pops has 2 of them and I have been trying to get one off of him for years, he finally said today that if I wanted it to put in my truck all I have to do is find a tranny.

yes thay will fit the 351 and 302 block are alot alike so i should fit just like a 302

No the 302 and 351w are like the same block just the intake on the 351w is 1.5"wider, The 351c and 351m are both classified as big blocks! My 351w had about a 1/2" between my underdrive pulleys and my rad. You can problably make a 351c fit i've never seen it done so do it up!

hopefully i will get to try it out. my pops is pretty wishy washy so i will have to see. a 351 is a lot wider than a 302. i know this because we use to put them in to the 65 mustangs and you have to do some modifications to the shock towers to make them fit. but if i don't get the 351c i know a guy that has a 351 modified with a c6 tranny for 300 bucks. for those of you that don't know; a 351 modified is equivelant to a 400. freakin sweet!!!

the 351c is going to be definately wider and you'll probably have to use stock exhaust manifolds or have a custom set of headers made too.

woo hooo my pops said i could have it for 1500. it is bored 30 over and the valves are ginormous! i am just hoping that i can make it fit without any major problems. i can just imagine the way it is going to sound!!!!!! gotta start doing some research now but when i get her hooked up i will post some pics. oh, and it is going to be a slow project due to the fact i'm a broke mofo with a wife and 3 kiddos, but it will be done...muhahahaha
