ok i just bought this 86 b2000 from my brother and he recently had a guy replace the carb and the funked up all the vacume lines and now i am lost i tried the whole "redoing the vacume lines" thing but that isn't working out...it has an 88 or 89 b2200 motor in it...ahhh i just need to get it working. well my questions are as follows:
1. can i disconect all the vacume lines and cap them off?
2. where on the carb does the vacume advance go?
3. if i can run it with out the vacume lined is it ok to do for a little bit?
4. the webber carb looks like it will solve alot of my problems but what will i need to keep?

1. No unless you want your truck to run so rich you plug the cats and only get about 12mpg
2. hard to explain
3. not really I wouldn't do it for more than 50 miles or so
4. The weber will eliminate all of the vaccum lines except the vaccum advance line it is also the best upgrade I have done to my truck it makes it run soooooo smooth
