Fuel Sending Unit.

Anyone know how much a new fuel sending unit for a 1992 B2200 (reg cab short box) is?? I called a local dealership and they want over $800 for the thing... thats gotta be wrong!

I know they are expensive... but I was thinking around $150.

$800 for just the sending unit...i got my sender for 65 bucks brand new....for 800 i would expect a sending unit and pump and tank...Installed...lol...

WOW that is crazy - I think mine was 70 bucks or sumpin simmilar to that. I will ask my buddy to price another one out for ya.

but is yours for an FI? cause they are up there

mines an FI and I got the just the fuel pump for 125 I called mazda and they wanted for the whole unit 350.

i paid 650$ from the dealer, which i did in 98' they arent easy to find at the wreckers, but i think theres a cheaper way around it, using tank and sending unit from a carb truck and an external pump

oh shit! i forgot, a mazda rx7 sending unit will work, theres a post somewhere on here from Russ D he comfirmed it

It's injected? I can confirm that an RX7 pump will work too. Might need to re-route the lines though.
