My truck acts like it has a low idle miss it hesitates in the mornings. It almost feels like its backfiring. It just started like last week. what could be the cause of this??

Its almost like it has a heart beat if you hold the accelerator at 3000 rpm.

could have some moisture buildup inside the dizzy cap causing missfire.

Plug wire(s) breaking down under load and misfiring. Bad plug. What the man said about dist. moisture.Burned valve. Lots of possibilites but I would check the easy stuff first.BJ

could it be my O2 sensor or maf sensor?

I had the reed block plugged off could this have caused it to hesitate??

lso the truck has at least 4 ground points.Check to be sure all those grounds are not corroded.BJ

i know im bringin this from the dead but im experiencing the same problems its missfiring all new plugs, and wires, Dissy cap..... oil change.... could it be that the Carbeurator float is stuck???

If float was stuck it would just run rich and kill ur mileage.A miss is 99.9% electrical down under a load, ditto plug wire,h2o in dist.cap, dist cap broken and allowing spark to leak out,bad igniter in dist cap,bad ground somewhere.bj

now ur sure... i'm starting to belive this cause when it starts miss firin i pull the wires and plug em back in and the thing runs good for another 200-300 Km's then it goes back to it again
