Black Box on Dizzy

Need help wiring up my Dizzy. Which terminal on the coil does the black box, what ever it is, that is on the dizzy go to + or -?

If u r talking about the small black thumb nail sized capacitor mounted outside the dist. with one single black wire it goes to the negative side of the coil.The two wire harness one black and white one blue that come out of the dist.,the b&w wire goes negative,the blue wire goes positive. BJ

what does this dizzy actually do..?

The distributer or the capacitor.Distributer takes voltage from the coil and distributes it via plug wires to the plugs.The capacitor I am really not sure of but I think it functions to charge the dist prior to the truck actually starting,a kind of "jump start".Not real sure about this so someone correct me if I am wrong.BJ
