i have a 1990 b2200 and i bought a new head and i need to adjust the valves...i need to know if anybody knows the valve adjustment for that head.

@ WORK SO I DON'T HAVE MY CHILTON'S, IF SOME ONE ELSE DOESN'T GET THEM FOR YOU I'LL CHECK WHEN I GET HOME & LET YOU KNOW TOMORROW.

IF you went back stock then you cant adjust them there hydrlc (SP)

Yep, look at the rocker arms.
If there are slotted screws with jam nuts, they are mechanical and can be adjusted.
If there are non, they are hydraulic lash adjusters, can't be adjusted and oil pressure fed.

the thing is i bought a new head and all the rocker arms are loose...and they are the ones with the adjusting screw and jam nut.

Ok then its not stock for your year truck if you have a book just do it like it says to do with a B2000.

the valves are to be adjusted HOT, but adjust them cold to begin initially. I believe the clearance it .08? Russ D?
