i was sitting here thinking, the whole reason i got the truck was because the tranny went out the the old probe as usual lol i loved the power of the probe could i drop that in the truck? that way i could do a great turbo set up with quit a bit of room, but how much work would need to be done to the fire wall (intake and dizzy) and would it bolt up to the tranny in the truck? and would the rear end handle the power of a turbo build?

oh and its a 93 2.0 dohc fi

THE FIRST GEN. "BOX BODY" PROBE 4 CYL ENGINE FITS OUR TRUCKS...SAME BLOCK & IT WILL BOLT TO OUR TRANNY.

I'M NOT SURE WHAT YEAR THE BODY CHANGED ON THE PROBES, BUT IF THIS ENGINE IS FROM ONE OF THE "BOX BODY" PROBES IT WILL WORK.

IF IT'S FROM THE SECOND GEN PROBE, YOU COULD PUT THIS ENGINE IN IT, BUT WOULD HAVE TO ADAPT THE MOTOR MOUNTS, WIRING, TRANNY & ADAPT IT TO THE REAR END. YES THE REAR SHOULD HOLDUP TO ANYTHING UNDER 150-200 HP......
