Hey guys, i just lowered my truck 4"'s in the rear...and now my exhuast is to low...its flowmaster muffler before the axle, and then runs single to Dual over the axle...and since i lowered it, its clinging on the axle because its to low...and the its almost touching the bottom on my bed, so i cant lift it much higher...anyone for any suggestions?? Thanks!!

do you have to run it out the rear of your truck? if not you could just exit infront of the rear tires.

true...i like the Dual exhuast look...

this is what you do. forget about looks of duals they look gay to me on a mini. just cut the pipes off from the muffler and put you some turndowns. Even if you still wanna see the exhasut have a local muffler shop bend you up some pipe and hangin out the side before the rear tire. thats the only way you gonna get rid of that noise.

sorry to steal the thread, but if you do that, will it be legal when you get emmisions tested, and the same for if it is bagged?

AS LONG AS THE EXHAUST EXITS PAST THE BODY FOR INSPECTION PURPOSES YOU'LL BE ALLRIGHT....AT LEAST THAT IS WHAT I HAVE BEEN TOLD.

you mean as long as you can stick the probe into the tailpipe without having to climb under the truck its legal? do you think a pipe that has glasspack on it and goes infront of the rear axle and exits into the bed pass fender, you think it would pass?

If ur state has emissions testing,it usually isnt where the exhaust exits-it is what (or what isnt)coming out of the exhaust that counts. It is more convenient for the inspectors if the pipe comes out where they can get to it-and it may pee them off if they have to crawl around looking for it.U may also have a noise ordnance in ur town that u need to be aware of.We do where I live so u stuff steel wool in ur glasspack before u take it down so it wont be so loud.Lol.BJ

i just wanted to make sure shortning the pipe wouldnt give a false reading. My muffler is broken off in front and I am wondering if I should just cut a little more, throw a glass pack on and make it turn out and be done with it.

I have my exhaust coming out the right side behind the passenger door.
