I was driving around im the b22 went to the car wash washed my truck and backed up out of the stall I was then talking to some buddys of mine while i had my truck idleling I look over and there was a small puddle of oil on the ground i looked under my truck and made sure it was coming from my truck sure enough what the hell could be leaking?

My guesses are:
front main seal
oil pan
somewhere around the head (isn't the valve cover I torqued it down)

how bad was the leak? this may sound stupied but alot of mazda have this problem, check the fuel pump gasket, they tend to leak from there, it could be a rear main, how many miles on the truck, most of them tend to leak at about 125-140,000 miles, just some trucks leak more than others at this point, just depends on how the truck is drive, how hard and if it has ever sat for a long period of time.

what you gave us doesnt really help. need more info on where the oil was leaking from: front, back, side, etc.

best bet is look inside the engine bay.

most common leak spots are these

valve cover: does not matter if you torqued it down 9999. the gasket made for it does not perfectly sit flush on corners, you need to use RTV on the corners. this will typically leak oil in the front corners, and when it leaks in the back corners, it will run down the tranny.

rear main seal: it is what it is, it leaks through the rear

front seal: leaks through the front

oil pan gasket: everything else on top is dry but there are oil spots on the ground, and the oil pan stays wet outside.

mechanical fuel pump: will typically leak on the bottom. oil will run down the passenger side of the block.

It seems to be coming from the front around the crankshaft pulley. The oil pan doesn't seem to be leaking from what I can see I had the skid plate off and I don't see oil draining down the front of the pan anywhere.

The truck just hit 140,000 almost at 141,000 thel block seams to be wet with oil on the pasanger side right under the intake manifold could it be a head gasket leak?

If up hi on the block probably the valve cover gasket =quick fix with a new gasket. If down low probaly the fuel pump or gasket or both leaking.bj

is it in the middle or the front of the block.

check the fuel pump gasket and see if it's wet. check the front corners of the valve cover and same with the rear. if the corners are dry, then it's mostlikely your fuel pump leaking.

my valve cover same loose about 2 months ago just out of the blue. def check to see around the cover and see if any of the bolts are loose.
