First, a bit of history on my truck. I picked up an '86 cab plus for $100 with a blown engine. Picked up another '86 that was a total, but had a good engine for a $100. with the two I made a runner for about $218 and change. While doing the swap I used which ever part was better between the two then to buy new as I wanted to keep cost down. So, since I've owned it the fuel gage has never worked until the other day. I noticed that it had come up to about 1/8th of a tank. Thinking there was a reason for this I stopped and filled her up with 10 gallons of gas. So it appears that it only works when I have an 1/8th of a tank or less. Based on this does anyone have any idea on whether it can be fixed to read when full?
