Okay I got one sub to run today since I figured it should be fine. Its just 50 amps to run the amp. But anyways, I decide to turn on my engine so I did'nt drain the battery. It seemed to run kinda funny. My bass would hit and the rpms would go down until the beat was over. So I'm keeping it at a managable level so it does'nt do that and I dont go DEAF! Lol.

But my real concern was the stuff that came out of my exhaust. On the gravel it looks black, but I was'nt sure what it was, maybe just water? I did see some in the pipe... But then I mov my truck to check for oil leaks. There is one leak in the front left. not sure what it is.

All I know is, could my bass have done anything to my engine? I don't see how but its better to make sure.

Last night I also was going up a hill in 5th, I thought I was too low of rpm, so I went into 4th and rapped it out pretty hard I'd say. It certainly scared me. I think it was doing about 3.5 almost 4 grand in rpm...

Could this have done anything? Thanks for any help guys...

Condensation in exhaust system (normal) plus a little oil blowby turning to carbon=black looking liquid out the pipe.Normal unless it comes out in great quantity.Ur alternator is basically a battery charger. If u r pulling a bunch of amps u could run battery down and cause premature alternator failure and/or slow starts in A.M.Go to a bigger alternator if ur in doubt.bj

hocbj23 is right on. Your pulling more amps than your battery has and the alternator can't charge it fast enough. This is also causing fuckups in other parts of the truck when the current drops below about 9 or 10 volts You really should run a second battery for your system. A second battery is usually cheaper than running a better alternator and it is a sure bet to fix your problem unless your running 2000 watts plus. Your stock alternator will charge both batterys fine and they will have enough amps to keep up.
