Just wondering, has anyone used the IHI-RBh5, and manifold from the probe or mx6 turbo on their mazda b2000, with a webber 38?

Im interested in putting this stuff on, and running it at 7 pounds, with a full msd ignition. I think it would be decently quick, which is all im looking for. Can you run forced induction with this carb? I plan on just picking up a PGT parts car, and using most of it on the B. any info would be cool. thanks everyone.

No clue bro...Where's the gearhead on this one?!

So, I picked up a Compressor&Manifold, came with some charge pipes and the BOV too. Got it all for $50 CAD, and it spools good. Now, to my understanding, since this setup is from a mx6 gt, it should just bolt up to my motor correct?

Where should i plumb for my oil feed line? And will i have any problems running this setup with a Webber 38 at the stock 7 pounds?

Also, anyone have some ideas for an intercooler? I was thinking of grabbing something off of a mitsubishi starion or something.

Any help would be great. thanks.

Anyone?

Im ready to drop some money on a 38 here...but if its not going to work i might as well spend it on a 32/36...thanks

i dont' think that the intake from the mx-6 gt will bolt to the 8v head off our trucks.....could be wrong tho....i think that they have been using the intake off of a fuelie b2200 & the throttle body & turbo from the mx-6 gt / 626 / probe...doubt i would use a weber with a turbo setup it just beggs for problems.....you'll end up too rich @ the bottom end & way to lean on the top or some where inbetween & have a heck of a time getting it to run right...it's just better to get a stand alone ecu (megasquirt or alike) or the ecu from one of the cars & get it setup to control the air / fuel mixture & spark..... as bad as i hate to say it (not wanting to come off as a search nazi) you might want to look thru some of russ-d's or i think madlowmazda's posts both of them are the "guru's" on this subject....
i know someone did a quite lengthy write up on a turbo install.

good luck, keep us posted!

the manifold bolts on, already tried it, but you'll want to find a way to get more fuel to the carb which will have to be a sealed opening so no boost gets out

It shouldn't be too bad with the lean/rich conditions only at 7 pounds though, no? Hmmm i don't even know why i want to stay away from fuel injection so bad, but it just seems like a carb setup is soo much easier to me. I was also thinking of grabbing an MSD 6BTM.

Anyway, FI or Carby..could i grab an mx6 GT oil sending unit, or would it be easier/cheaper just to use the one ive got for a feed line?
