what is all that stuff to the left of the carb, is it just emissions and vacum stuff, if so, what would happen if i took all of it out with the weber carb, i dont have the money for it but im baggin my truck so, i wanna get rid of it

with the weber carb, you can yank all of that stuff if you please. the 3 pipes going into the exhaust will need to be plugged.

if you're not replacing the carb, don't mess with it. the mazda carb is computer controlled and it relies on those components to function correctly.

you can drive around laying crossmember with all the stock stuff in there, just cut the fenders, lift them up and tie them up. you may need to do some vacuum line extending so you can relocate easier.

if you want to ditch it w/o a weber, suit yourself and see how it runs.

yeh, no good unless you do the whole thing at once

ahh i see, moving it up sounds easy enough, i just didnt know what all of it was for and if i could take it out with the weber carb, thanks

A quick note. There are two things to left of carb u do not want to get rid of. The large black cannister is a charcoal filter for gas tank fumes.Leave it alone unless u want gas smell in ur engine bay and cab all the time. There is a fuse box behind the charcoal cannister.Leave it alone. Truck will not run without it. BJ

ight cool, but besides those 2, can everything else go and my truck work fine. i dont wanna take away anymore power than i already have because im originally from louisiana and am now in wyoming where there is no air and it sucks balls

Stock carb will adjust for differences in altitude. That is what o2 sensor is for. If the truck is lean, it will sense that and richen it up some. On the Webber, u will have to do that manually, but only one screw to turn so it isnt too hard. BJ
