What type of choke?

'89 B2200. I start my truck in the morning, which is pretty nipply outside. It starts after a bit of cranking, push the gas, and it dies. So I start it, then slowly increase the rpm so its about 1.5 grand for like a minute. Then it runs fine...

Just wonder if theres a way to adjust it or something?

try cleaning it w/ some carb cleaner.....it might just be sticking...

No adjustment on choke. Best way to start is push gas to the floor and release.This sets choke.Start truck. It will idle way to fast,but tap accel and it will drop to 1500 rpm.Let it run there for about 30 secs and tap accel again.It will drop to about 1000 rpm.Ready to go. Plus do what the Man said and run some carb cleaner down its throat.BJ
