Cat

Just an FYI note.I put a MagnaFlow cat on my truck this week end.I have a G-Tech meter and if it is accurate I picked up about 3hp,I assume because my old cat was completely stopped up.Truck sounds much better, and seems to be running a bit cooler as well.Will check mileage this week and see if it helped there as well/BJ

what size exhaust are you running and what muffler?

how much hp and torque ya got now? does it have the top speed thing on it. also could you get us the 1/4 and 1/8 times? have you done the squirter thing yet? thanks -bf

I will get those #s for u. I have started the water injection unit but had a technical glitch.mounted the injectors in the top of the air cleaner pointed down into the throttle body of the carb.I have an acoustic blanket under my hood and it is jus thick enough to kink the hoses so not enough water gets thru. Need to lower the squirters somehow but if u go to far they interfere with the choke plate.I will figure it out. Thanks for asking.I dont think the GTech measures top speed but I havent figured out all the functions yet.BJ

Yep>Sounds nice.I am more interested in how it performs,so tonite I will pay a little visit to a deserted stretch of nice level 2 lane I know of and run some 1/8 and 1/4 times and see if the exhaust and injector system adds some pep to a tired old engine.Hope nothing blows but I have redline set at 4k and that ought to be on the safe side.BJ

THAT IS FINE ON YOUR TRUCK, BUT IF YOU HAVE THE HYD LIFTERS & TACK IT UP THAT HIGH YOUR TAKING A CHANCE @ FLOATING ONE.......THEN YOU'LL DEFF HAVE THAT MAZDA TICK GOING ON!
