New Head

i bought a new head to day on a auction, for a price i couldnt pass up.

i waz tols it waz for a 1987 b2200

and i would like to put it on my 89 b2200.

on the side of it, it has i believe it waz F somethin dash 8.
i dont remember off hand i will look tomarrow to make sure.

so will it fit??

Yes it will work just fine

just make sure you replace the head bolts when you put it on, dont re use the old ones, or you will run into problems like i did, also may as well replace what you can while you have it off, water pump, timing belt etc.

go here for the headbolts, it was the cheapest place i found by far




$44.85 for the bolts and i believe that includes shipping also, i had mone two days after i ordered them

yes it will fit like drpmazda said replace the head bolts and water pump and everything else you can while you got it that far apart also TORQUE the head bolts in the right pattern starting from the center and working out in steps dont fully torque them right from the start snug them all up go to about half of the torque get all of them again still working from the center out then got to the specifed torque....
