need to find a early 90's rx-7 motor, transmission, and rear end to put in a 86 b2000 longbed.... perferably a 13-b motor

That's what I was thinking, I have a 90 N/A rx7 (13b with lsd rear end) to do it but I got too much going with my 323. I'd sell it to ya but I'm in southern ontario (Canada) and the 7's motor needs rebuilding so it couldn't be driven back.

check on car-part.com you could probably find what your looking for on there, or e-bay or your local newspaper

By early '90's I hope you mean the S5 series! Because the '93-'95 wont even come close to bolting up in a B-Series! And the 2nd Gen's stopped in '92 which those were only J-Spec anyways! So, you are basically stuck with the years '90 & '91...which is still the 13B! And the S5 series had a better setup than the S4 series did...more HP & TQ....

Any more questions let me know!

Oh! And as for inferno94's seven having LSD...they only put the LSD in the '86-'88 GXL, '88 GTU & '87-'91 T2 US models and it was rumored that a few '91 coupes came with the LSD package! So unless that seven is a true J-Spec model it does not have a LSD....

Oh! And you should note that Mazda denies that any FC other than the T2 came with LSD in '91

Just so you know what your looking for!

S4 is 86-88 S5 is 89-91, by the way I have a T2 swapped into mine. 3rd gen motor takes up just as much room as the 2nd, I had to make my own motor and trans mounts anyways, looks very at home.
On the LSD thing 84-85 Gsl-se came with a 26 spline lsd that will swap into the rearend of the truck, different gear ratios too!

I never said you couldn't swap a T2 into a B-Series! And all FD's (3rd gens) left the factory with the twin sequential turbo setup, any single turbo setups are aftermarket...it is very rare to find an FD with a N/A 13B!

So, the FD Engine would take up way more space than the FC (2nd gen) engine becuase of the twin turbo setup....by the way!
