Aight so I started putting my header on today. Everything's good cept I can't get the slip on piece's flange to mate up to the stock exhaust flange. The angles just are too far off. I've heard of people using the flex hose/exhaust pipe, is this why? Anyone else here done this? Think I'm gonna try it tomorrow cuz I've tried all I could get to get the pieces to match up and nothing's working.

if you have a fuel injected motor they won't mate up. You will have to take toa muffler shop or flex pipe. I d take it to a shop if I were you

i agree. take it to a muffler shop and have it done right.i've seen what those look like and i be very surprised if they'd last very long.

if you do take it to a shop, make sure you get them to put a disconnect flange in there where they connect the pipes....it will be easier to change the gasket if you ever need to.

Went and had it welded this morning. Sounds great lol. Now I really hear my flowmaster. Hear a little sound from the header itself too, but not too much. I do have some rattles underneath where the pipe is hitting the frame somewhere...thought this may happen if he lifted the exhaust too high, but no biggy, I'll get some fiberglass or something to put between the exhaust and the frame.

As for power, I can tell some difference, not a great amount, but it doesn pull a lil better. Can't expect too much from these lil engines though lol. Waiting on my carb now, then we'll see what kind of power I really get
