Ok, I just installed a brand new Weber carb and I am still having excessive fuel being poured into the engine. That is the reason I replaced the old Nikki carb to begin with. It can't be the Weber carb doing it because it is band new and the Nikki did it as well. The engine will run but it lobes very bad, probably because it is running soo very rich. When I look into the carburetor I can see puddles of gas on the throttle doors. I don't know what it can possibly be. HELP!

are you running a regulator, if so do you have an inline guage between it & the carb? should be runnin @ 3-4 psi. you will have to adjust the carb as prescribed in the installation manual, if it still won't adjust out, you may have to change to a smaller size jet if it is runnin too rich.....also might want to check the float level as well.

good luck

No need, I returned the carb.
