The numbers we have all been throwing around re Weber carbs are the diameters of the primary and secondary openings in the carb body.A Weber 34/34 which I have has a 34mm primary and a 34 mm secondary. The 32/36 has a 32mm primary and a 36 mmsecondary ,etc. The "big"Weber is the 38 mm Outlaw.if ur truck is heavily modified engine wise u would want the 38 Weber. If it is pretty much stock like mine the 34 is plenty. To check fan, grab the fan when truck is cold and see if you can spin the blades (BE SURE TRUCK AINT RUNNING-Lol).U should be able to.Then warm truck up to normal temp, shut it off and see if u can spin the blades. It should be much harder to do as fan should be fully engaged or close to it (dont burn yourself on hot radiator). There is a wire from the back of the alternator that connects to the choke mechanism on the carb.Get a tester, turn switch on and see if it is pulling about 7 volts. If u dont have a local Mazda dealer that can get u the proper thermo for ur dawg let me know and I will get one here and send it to u and u can pay me back. I also have a good fan clutch for a 2200 u can try if ur's is bad. I put an electric fan on mine.BJ
