O.k. I've removed the snap rings but umm, tappin the yoke with a mallet and they'll fall out...um like Haynes says...it ain't workin! Anyone got any tips?

are you doing the forward one and the back one? because i think that the center one is pressed in.

Not according to freakin haynes lol. I was gonna go ahead and replace them all while I've got the shaft out, and the center bearing.

Btw which way does the angle face with angled blocks?

Typically with the angled blocks the idea is to roll the front of the axel (where the drive shaft attaches) down. So with that said, the shorter portion goes forward.

i am not telling you to do this but i got what i think was a killer deal. i found a guy on ebay that rebuilds the driveshaft and modifies and replaces the u-joints with chevy u-joints because it is so hard to find someone to press the center u-joint. now when ever i need to change them it as easy as using the part numbers he gave me and swapping them out.

the ONLY joint that is replaceable is the center joint and also the center SUPPORT Bearin whick i highly recomend going to the dealer for thae after market bearing and joint wont last no time i got 300 miles on mine befor they fell apart! the front and rear joints are STAKED in dont kno what it means but i took it to a drive shaft shop and they soid they will not touch it

rockford drive line components part #4011. buy those and you can chance the stacked ones and put them back in , cant make it any easier for you then that

^^ Are these their "staked in replacement" joints? It shows for 89 B2200 as #430-11.
