I did some searching looking for info on the different weber carbs and others opinions of which they liked better. I found a little info, but thought it would be nice to have it all in one place. This is basically to help me decide which one I want to go with with the mods I plan to run.

I plan on running a Weber carb, Pacesetter header, 2.5" exhuast pipe, Magnaflow, and some sort of aftermarket muffler (not sure yet, looking for something not too loud and small enough to fit under the truck and exit in front of rear wheel).

I would like to see what everyones running from carb to exhuast tip and their opinion about the set up, gas mileage, and ease of tuning.

Weber 32,stock header,2.25 pipe,Magnaflow cat, flowmaster 40,pipe out the stock location with split tips.Mileage went from 19-20 to 24-25 (carb + cat I am sure).Sounds very nice, not too loud and just passed Tennessee pollution inspection and noise inspection.BJ

Very nice! Sounds similar except pipe exits in front of tire on the daughters truck and the muffler is a flowmaster 40 copycat but it sounds nice.

Nice to see ya still around the Scene.

Sounds like a great setup, and not overkill!
